In addition to the Classical and Sämisch Variations White has a wide choice of other setups to employ against the King’s Indian. One of the most aggressive is the Four Pawns Attack, in which White puts all his trust in the power of his pawn centre.
After the typical counter-thrust 6...c5 we often see in 7.d5 e6 8.Be2 exd5 9.cxd5 a move order leading to a pawn formation characteristic of the Modern Benoni, which can lead to very sharp play.
